I’m a Screenwriter

I always wanted to be a writer.

I didn’t know in what form but I knew I wanted to tell stories and use words. I wrote poetry (yes very teenaged angsty poems!) and was published when I was nineteen and at Uni. My mates threw me a party and I felt like I was famous! Then life happened and I had various jobs, trained as a marketing manager, had my own business but still couldn’t seem to find my writing thing. In 2010 I wrote four children’s books and they were picked up by a Kids TV Producer and we went out and pitched these ideas that came from MY HEAD and it was scary, wonderful and enlightening - that’s when I knew I wanted to write for telly. I realised that my thing was actually writing drama and comedy (don’t worry I haven’t quite let go of the kids ideas!)

I had a break from writing to have a family and was finally able to write full time in 2019 - since then, I’ve had a period drama series in development with ITV, a comedy series in development with Sky, I’ve also written about eleventy thousand scripts. I’ve taken part in three writing rooms and have a number of ideas currently ‘out there’ with Producers and Production Companies. I am always looking to connect with new people and am open to creative collaborations.

Here are a few log lines and visuals from projects I’m currently working on - welcome to my world!
